Town Forest

The Town Forest region features the Groton Town Forest. It includes the cluster of Patricia Hallet, Hemlock Grove, Lawrence Park, and Integrity Way. It also includes the new Jack and Judy Palmer CA that are at the southern end of the Ice Line Trail, the Old Mill Conservation Area and the Squannacook River WMA that are along the railroad right of way that runs along the southwest side of Town Forest.

Integrity Way

The parcel wraps around the northern side of the Integrity Way subdivision, but only the initial part of the single-track trail going east from the cul-de-sac is on this parcel. Most of the parcel contains wetlands. There is a very short connecting trail from the cul-de-sac to other parcels.

This parcel sits between the cul-de-sacs of Fox Run and Integrity Ln. off Pepperell Rd. in W. Groton. Several single-track trails crisscross this hilly parcel. It is a mixed forest that contains a large number of hemlock trees.

Ice Line Trail

This former railroad bed is level and runs alongside agricultural fields and wetlands. From this trail you can veer off onto trails that connect to other GTN properties.
