Places and Activities

Here is a list of all the Groton Trails places you might like to visit.  The trail maps accompanying each property description can be used with a smartphone to show your location or to get directions.

Hiking on trails offers numerous benefits, including improved physical health, mental well-being, and environmental benefits. Physically, hiking can improve cardiovascular health, strengthen muscles and bones, and enhance balance and coordination. Mentally, it can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression, while also improving mood and cognitive function. Environmentally, trails provide protected natural spaces that support wildlife habitat, carbon sequestration, and air filtration. All of our trails provide opportunities for bird watching, spotting wildlife, leaf peeping and more.  Use the Activities filter to find some curated trail suggestions for specific activities.
