A forested tract in West Groton that features a rolling landscape of pine and hardwoods, offering a Nature Walk loop.
The trail winds through a mix of red maple, white pine, and hemlock stands. Extensive wetlands. The interpretive nature walk along the loop trail, which runs along the top of an esker and skirts a beaver pond, which is often visited in season by osprey, eagles and herons. Several logging trails extend off of the main loop.

Donated by the Hayes family in 1994, this property was preserved with help from the Groton Conservation Trust to maintain the ecological corridor between neighboring forest parcels.
